I'm putting this blog together to better express who I am to my new friends and extended relatives, as I am terrible in real-time conversations. This blog won't be updating, it's just a mini collage, a little something to give those who ask about me. I go blank and clam up! So, this might help.
I'm an artist, or artistic-ish, but no longer creating anything to sell. I've made some comics and cartoons, and lots of videos. But nothing too serious, it's all mostly quirky fun stuff.
I was born in Dallas, Texas, and lived there most of my life, until moving to Florida in 2011. I live a simple and peaceful life here with my husband David. My daughter is all grown up, and living in Dallas.
I am faith-filled, a Christian. That is really my whole life, I love Jesus!
I just spent almost 5 years unable to walk, but have grown stronger in the past several months, and with specially made (and a bit ugly) orthopedic shoes, am now able to walk again. I don't really focus on health related things, in my life or in conversation, just trusting God to take care of me. My life is much more than the physical body.
I am a very quirky and sometimes silly person, but try very hard to act normal. It doesn't always work.
Now that I've reached middle age, (turned 50 in 2019), it will be interesting to see if I turn into a normal elder, or a crazy old bat. Time will tell.
This is the first "about me" I've written in over a decade, because I dislike it, but am making myself do it, to be more proper when I meet new people, who kindly share all kinds of wonderful information about their life, and I just take it all in, saying almost nothing in return. This blog maybe can help paint a picture of who I am.
